Google Workspace Engineer

What will you do? Google Workspace Engineer

As the Google Workspace Engineer you will work closely with the Google Workspace Senior Engineer to ensure smooth operation and continual improvement of our Google Workspace platform.

Some accountabilities of the role: 

• Working closely with support teams to resolve issues and implement new features with Google Workspace, AppScript and AppSheet.

• Supporting a continual improvement program to ensure we are adhering to Google best practice.

• Deploying and supporting installation of Google Hardware, including Meet devices, ChromeOS and also support of other mobile Operating systems (Android / IOS.) 

• Day to day management of Chrome across the estate, including auditing of extensions, approvals and updates.

• Ensuring we are adhering to group security standards, working closley with our Information Security team.

• Responsible for Innovation within Google Workspace, and be able to spot and/or identify opportunities; where tech solves problems, improve work processes and make suggestions.

• Perform any other duties, commensurate with the role and develop along with any future changes that fall in line with the Google Roadmap and to the TP PLC GTS Departmental ways of working and general business development.
