We have an opportunity to join our Client Services department as a Google Workspace Senior Engineer . This is a brand new opportunity for the business where you will be the business Google Subject matter expert and manage the Google environment  for the business.

This is a remote / home based role with 1 day a month at our Hub Head Office in Northampton for meetings and collaborations. 

What you’ll do

As the Google Workspace Senior Engineer you will be the main point of contact for all Google workspace platforms, integration and security setup where you will help design, configure, and implement Google’s features and tools to help TP establish Google products as the first choice for the business. 
As part of this role you will need to have a clear understanding of the business processes within the whole TP group and analyse the Google solutions that best works for the business, from on boarding to application remediation needs.

With this role you will need to build a strong relationship with our Google partner and Google themselves, ensuring you are able to keep track of escalations, technical troubleshooting and bugs.
As a Google SME you will be expected to have the latest knowledge and understanding of the features and configurations in the Google toolset as well as what is coming on the road map and establish clear processes for testing and user impact assessments.

As part of your deliverables in this role you are expected to configure the Google environment to take full advantage of its feature set and what it can offer TP in order to reduce the need for 3rd party tools and increase ROI of the Google workspace service by ensuring the environment is set up to it best of capabilities.

Is this you?

- Experience in deploying and or configuring Google workspace in large business environments
- Have or can obtain the Google Professional Collaboration Engineer certification.
- Experience working with or an understanding of tools such as GCDS and GAM
- Has experience in setting up and managing 3rd party integration into Google Workspace environments including GCP service accounts.
- Comfortable with mail flow architectures and routing, SPF, DKIM, DMARC and DNS configurations in general.
- Has experience and knowledge of working with security and data compliance policies and is able to configure DLP and compliance rules.
- Is able to design technical solutions and maintain Them to ensure a fast paced constantly evolving platform is fully utilised and adheres to the business security standards and policies.
