Are you looking for the opportunity to take a genuine lead in all that you do? Are you passionate about improving insurance programs and demonstrate a proactive approach that continuously mitigates risk across an organisation?

We are on the hunt for a commercially minded Head of Insurance who will take full responsibility for defining and implementing the insurance plan and strategy for Travis Perkins Group. 

This is a great opportunity to work closely with board members and report directly to the Travis Perkins General Counsel. 

On a day to day basis, we believe your opportunities will be to improve the following types of tasks and responsibilities, however, we are also keen for you to shape this role yourself: -
 
  • Maintaining an insurance programme that provides a good fit to the business’ evolving needs and managing claims against the Travis Perkins and claims made by Travis Perkins 
  • Lead and manage the day to day facets of the insurance program 
  • In conjunction with the wider business develop a proactive risk program
  • Lead and oversee the renewal process including presentation of renewal terms to the Board
  • Manage Third Party providers such as brokers, insurers and claims handlers as well as all negotiations and renewals
  • Enabling and supporting best practice on our Health, Safety and Environment agenda.
  • Develop a best in class insurance process and platform
