Our Dunfermline branch is based on Pitreavie Business Park, Queensferry Road Dunfermline, KY11 8QP, we have a great team of 17 colleagues and a successful Tool Hire with 4 delivery vehicles.  Its a busy branch with a footfall of around 70 trade customers a day, most we know on a first name basis.  The Branch Manger has created a good family feel where they all help one another. 

Branch Hours - Monday to Friday 7am - 4.30pm and Saturdays 8am - 12pm (you will only work 2 in 4)

What will I be doing 
  • We run a large Tool Hire operation with a 4 man team, we provide our local tradespeople with all the tools and equipment they need to complete jobs for their customers. From diggers to dumpers, drills to ladders, we cover the lot. In order to drop off and collect this equipment, we run a beaver tail vehicle and we're looking for a competent driver to join our team who is happy to load and unload plant equipment. Plant experience is not essential and full training will be provided.
  • This is a multi-skilled role and you will be tasked with ensuring all tools and hire equipment are tested and safe for use and readily available for hire.
  • You will support your Tool Hire Manager in managing all aspects of their department and business.
  • Delivering and collecting a wide variety of tools & equipment to our customers.
  • With your learned knowledge of the products and services we offer, you will be a pivotal contact for our customers, nurturing great relationships, understanding their needs in order to offer expert advice and recommending alternatives to profitably maximise the sale of goods.
  • Safety is at the forefront of everything we do, so you will need to adhere and be compliant to all Tool Hire processes and procedures including all Tool Hire audits and inspections.

What experience do I need:

You will have a Class 2 driving licence, up to date CPC records and 12 months+ driving experience.  You’ll be confident in dealing with our customers, building new relationships and developing existing ones. You will be safety focussed, ensuring work is completed in a safe and professional manner.
