Travis Perkins are currently recruiting for a confident and motivated Trainee HR Systems & Data Analyst to join our Reward team. The role is based in Northampton with a hybrid home/office approach. You will be providing analytical and technical support to the HR Data Manager and Head of HR Systems. This includes, but not limited to: maintaining quality and consistency of our HR database information, coding and configuration; ensuring personnel actions are in compliance with current policies and guidelines.

Using your excellent analytical and Excel skills, you will collaborate with the wider HRIS Team and you will be trained in the following area’s within this varied role:

Activities
- Provide 2nd line support for HR System queries.
- Working as part of a Systems team to support HR system standards, this will involve analysing data and configuring the HR System.
- Assist with the maintenance of the HR system and its Data
- Support adhoc analysis of key HR metrics and Reporting information
- Investigating discrepancies by analysing imports and reconciling data
- Identify opportunities for improving processes

Your enthusiasm and drive to support Travis Perkins colleagues through its HR Systems and Data will be key. You should have an interest in logical processes and/or data and spreadsheets.

Along with the above, you’ll also have:
Attention to detail, drive and flexibility to deliver great customer service, striving to make managers life easier through systemised solutions
Excellent communication skills to liaise with multiple stakeholders at various levels
Questioning mind with the ability to challenge the status quo and an ability to conduct research and interpret/present useful insight.
