Are you a Health and Safety Professional that's looking for a new challenge? We have an exciting opportunity for a HSE Advisor to join our HSE Support Team supporting our Head of HSE with driving improvement activity across our merchanting businesses within the Travis Perkins Group. 

What you’ll do

This role is varied and provides the opportunity to work across various different businesses.  
You will support the Head of HSE with the creation of group-wide improvement activity materials and standards that will be distributed across the group.
You will be responsible for maintaining the Business’s risk assessment schedules and risk profiles in line with the agreed timescales and maintain oversight of the Business’s progress and maintenance of our Group Safety and Well-Being Minimum Standards.

Other responsibilities will include: Supporting the Head of HSE in investigating serious incidents and creating Business Leadership Teams HSE & Wellbeing Packs. Working alongside our HSE Improvement Specialist Team to support the delivery of business agreed improvement activities.

Is this you?

You will know how to manage your own time effectively but also know when to reach out to your team for support. Having a good eye for detail is key alongside experience of conducting data analysis and presenting back your findings in a clear and concise manner. 
Given the risk levels of our businesses we are particularly keen to hear from HSE professionals that hold a minimum of a NEBOSH General Certificate and at least TechIOSH status. To be considered for this role you will Ideally you will have 2 years plus post qualification experience in a medium to high risk business
