Job Title: Internal Account Coordinator

Location: Based in Bedford



Travis Perkins are currently recruiting for an Internal Account Coordinator within our Plumbing and Heating Division.  It’s an exciting time to be joining the division as we embark on a 3 year transformation journey to create a stronger, more efficient and more profitable business. Our strategy focuses on nurturing what already makes us great, while building plans to differentiate our customer offer and continuing to develop expertise, range and delivering a great service to make it easier for customers to do business with us. We want to continue to build a strong culture of winning where customers love to shop and where our people love to work.  


We are looking for an ambitious individual to sell Primaflow F & P products and services to existing and potential new customers making regular contact from an internal office based operation working within an existing team, ensuring that all relevant contacts are regularly called, demonstrating the ability to maximise selling time by excellent planning and organisation. Maintain the highest level of integrity, customer confidence and satisfaction through regular telephone, email and postal contact.


Principle Accountabilities:

  • Report to the Telemarketing Manager

  • Achieve KPI and Sales Targets as agreed as part of an individual set of personal objectives and to ensure that these are monitored and reviewed on a regular basis

  • To understand and interpret customer requirements and use every sales opportunity to promote the full Primaflow F & P range and service offerings

  • To take the initiative to target and open new customer accounts, projects and follow up enquiries in a timely manner.

  • To provide innovative product and service solutions to differentiate our offer to the customer

  • To establish and maintain an excellent level of communication between all elements of the organisation, its customers and suppliers by internal networking

  • To maintain accurate customer records and to work in accordance with the Sales Management System

  • Through consistent planning, make the most effective use of time to achieve set targets and objectives

It would be great if you had…

  • Excellent written and verbal skills demonstrated by academic achievement in English Language

  • Excellent Communication and hold strong ability to build relationships.

  • You will hold strong listening skills, Self motivated, Personable, and Tenacious

  • Previous sales management experience would be an advantage

  • Previous Industry sales experience

  • Pragmatic (dealing or concerned with facts or actual occurrences;practical)

  • Results driven
