If this sounds like you, then why not apply? We are looking for an Internal Communications Executive to support the Finance Modernisation Programme on a 18 month contract (secondment opportunity for internal candidates) …a brilliant opportunity that is a brand new role to the business! 


What you’ll do

As the Internal Communications lead you will provide all communications in relation to the Finance Modernisation project, and work with project teams, Oracle and Hitachi Vantara to ensure consistent messaging. You will develop, maintain and implement the communication strategy for the Finance modernisation system build and integration process which will include the approach, messages, tone, assets, templates and toolkits. This is an exciting, challenging role for an enthusiastic, driven individual with extensive internal communications experience, particularly in change management.

Some accountabilities of the role: 
- Be a visible and supportive lead internal comms resource for the project and its stakeholders
- Create a programme and calendar of activity that engages the relevant stakeholders across the Group, and ensures they are kept informed as required
- Attend regular project meetings to provide advice on comms activity as an integral part of the project
- Stay close to project leaders and key stakeholders to form a deep understanding of the comms requirements associated with the project
- Help translate technical information into easy to understand, engaging content that contributes positively to the success of the project 
- Own the development and maintenance of the project ‘brand’ and messages to ensure alignment and consistency across the Group
- Work with the wider communications team across Group to make sure project news and  activity are communicated regularly and consistently across the Group where appropriate
- Support wider communications events activity, where Finance Modernisation may play a key part of the agenda

Is this you?

Due to the nature of our business, we are looking for someone who is able to deliver valuable internal communications support within the complexities of a large, geographically dispersed organisation. You will have a proven track record in the development of successful, creative internal communications strategies, while having the drive to ensure all projects and initiatives are delivered on deadline, on budget and to agreed measures. You’ll need to be familiar with a range of off- and on-line channels and be on top of the latest thinking as regards best practice in internal communications. You will be a hands-on, team player, and have strong written ability, so you’re able to translate complex issues into compelling, interesting, straightforward language that holds people’s attention. 

Key to this role is the ability to build and maintain strong relationships across a diverse stakeholder group with the skills to inspire others to embrace change. In all, a thorough internal communications person who isn’t afraid to get stuck in and do what’s needed to deliver some outstanding results.
