Travis Perkins plc. You’ve probably heard of us, you’d have seen our trucks on the road, and more than likely would have seen a bag of our sand on your neighbours driveway. We have an army of over 16,000+ colleagues that are committed to providing an unrivaled level of service to our customers. Our Talent Acqusition Team is now looking for an Internal Recruiter to assist our Branch Management teams with their ongoing recruitment demands.

You don’t have to have worked in Internal Recruitment before. The majority of our team started off in agency recruitment. What is important to us, is that you’re focussed on delivering an exceptional candidate experience throughout the hiring process. We want every candidate that has interacted with us to feel they’ve had a good experience with our business, regardless of their application outcome.

The experience of our Branch Manager’s and Regional Directors is key too. You’ll be working alongside them to provide expert support and advice as and when needed, not being afraid to challenge and work differently to deliver great outcomes. We have a number of “niche” positions within our businesses, so you’ll be experienced in sourcing and attracting candidates from all different channels.

This position will primarily be focussing on supporting our Driver Recruitment Team with the ever growing demand of HGV Drivers across 4 of our businesses spanning over 800 locations. It’s common knowledge that there is a HGV Driver shortage across the UK, so filling these vacancies isn't easy. We look out for each other in our team, and when the going gets tough, we all chip in to help each other out, so be prepared for variety!

Anyway, enough about us, what about you? 

Our Talent Acquisiton Team work from home, but travel into our brand new offices in Northampton every Tuesday. We love to get close to our stakeholders too, so travel to some of our branches is also expected. We work Monday to Friday, 08:45 - 17:00, but happy to be flexible for the right person. We offer a competitive salary, 25 days annual leave + Bank Holidays.
