Internal Sales Representative job 
Location: Northampton 
£Competitive Salary + Benefits 

Are you a dynamic individual who is sales driven and has a passion for delivering the best service to your customers? As our Internal Sales Representative you will be responsible for delivering agreed targets for our Estimating customers by adopting the correct account management techniques and tools which have been established for the operation. 

To add to the excitement of the role you will also be accountable for the development of profitable sales from our customers estimating projects within a defined Branch and Region. Additionally we want you to be as passionate about our customers as much as we are. Your strong interest in driving solutions, will allow us to continue to WOW our customers and drive loyalty

We’re after someone who’s enthusiastic, resilient and resourceful, with a sharp eye for detail and a passion for excellence. Additionally, being well-organised and planned goes without saying, as you will be responsible for meeting our valued customer expectations. 

The successful candidate will ideally have: 
  • Previous experience within a sales role where you delivered agreed profit targets 
  • Industry knowledge of building products, with a sound understanding of all products and materials would be an advantage 
  • Ability to build strong customer relationships over the phone, coupled with excellent customer service skills 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to relate to a broad spectrum of individuals 
  • Good working knowledge of IT systems 
  • Ability to demonstrate strong sales and negotiation skills 
  • Ability to work as an individual and as part of a collaborative team environment 
Customer contact will primarily be by telephone, with occasional face to face meetings where appropriate.
