We have an exciting opportunity for a Key Account Support Manager, its the first of its kind in BSS. This role will predominately be based from home with the occasional travel to head office in Leicester. You will be working with three Key Account Directors in a dynamic and fast-paced environment with a culture that takes pride in what we do. We work as one team, achieving our goals by listening and supporting each other. Our team is brimming with some of the most creative and savvy minds in the industry, and we remain at the forefront of our markets thanks to our in-house product knowledge and brand marketing experience.
What you’ll be doing
You will manage the partnership with a defined number of Key Accounts. By working collaboratively, you will agree and achieve jointly agreed strategic plans and objectives; thus delivering the sales and profit budget for those accounts. Our National Key Accounts have a t/o of £50m, so its imperative that you can build strong relationships quickly, internally, these will include BSS departments across finance, commercial credit control, regional teams and key suppliers. This role will also give you exposure across BSS nationally and exposure within group sales across TP, CCF and TF solutions..
You will be a dynamic and enthusiastic individual whilst managing the partnerships with a defined number of Key Accounts. Additionally we want you to be as passionate about our customers as we are, with your strong interest in creating and implementing solutions allowing us to continue supporting our customer ledger and driving loyalty. Relationships and stakeholder management is key for us, as you will be using strategic and planned account management methodology, to ensure that every sales opportunities across all product categories are optimised within your ledger.
What experience do you need?
Your don’t need product knowledge, we can teach you our products, we are after someone who’s enthusiastic, resilient and resourceful, with a sharp eye for identifying new sales opportunities and a passion for excellence. Being well-organised and planned goes without saying, as you will be responsible for meeting our valued customer expectations.
The successful candidate will ideally have:
- Proven ability to manage a number of large key customers and built strong relationships with multiple stakeholders
- Strong abilities in understanding customer objectives in order to develop successful strategic plans
- Identified new sales opportunities and create solutions for your customer ledger to deliver long term profitable sales growth for both parties
