The perfect Kitchen takes planning!  It requires specialist knowledge, an understanding of the possibilities, a creative flair and the passion to make it a reality. 

At Travis Perkins our Kitchen Sales Assistant are the experts that help our trade customers achieve this time and again. As a Kitchen Sales Assistant you will support the Branch Manager to achieve and exceed sales targets in one of our Kitchen showroom by
  • maintaining high showroom standards and ensuring all customers receive excellent service - with high regard for both the customer and the sale
  • providing a first class CAD Kitchen design service, with close attention to detail, ensuring that all quotations, when raised, are followed up optimising margins through the control of customer discounting and the use of preferred suppliers and products
  • ensuring all customer orders are dealt with efficiently, managing expectations regarding timescales and delivered in a timely fashion - complete and correct
  • dealing with customer issues to resolution
  • creating and maintaining a loyal customer base through a continuous proactive approach, building a rapport with customers and generating new and repeat business
Whilst Kitchen product knowledge and sales experience is not required it is important to understand that this is a results based role, that has a strong focus on targeted sales.  We’re looking for someone who 
  • is willing to learn - products, design and sales techniques
  • has a natural desire to achieve
  • will put the customer first
  • has previous experience of working in a busy, fast paced role
  • is presentable in appearance, personable and friendly
  • can positively interact with colleagues
  • has the ability to adapt to change quickly
