Wickes is an exciting, fast paced and changing environment. We have exciting growth plans and, with this in mind, we’re looking to talk to candidates who would be interested in joining us as an L&D Advisor within our expanding Talent & Develpment team.

We’re looking for people that truly love developing people and who want to be the best they can be on a day to day basis, be that working on an L&D strategy, designing some impactful training or delivering workshops. We want you to build and develop authentic working relationships with people you meet, in whatever context, make considered decisions that will often challenge thinking, be brave and always be at your best. We need people who, like us, take real pride in what they do.


The Role....


We have a big L&D agenda planned for 2019! We want to provide some robust training across our store portfolio and also develop a 70:20:10 methodology to utilise our e-learning capabilities.


We are looking for someone who is looking to develop their L&D career, you should have 2-3 years experience of working within a similar environment and we would love you to be either working towards your CIPD or interested in doing so.


This will need someone who has experience of designing for a diverse audience and has a experience in delivering material too. As you can appreciate, we need people who have a strong background in L&D and can work at pace and can deal with change in a positive, solution focused way.


Our Head office is based in Watford but as we are a national business there may be some travel involved.
