Joining CCF as a Business Admin Apprentice gives you a fantastic opportunity to showcase your high level of accuracy and attention to detail - skills that are vital for a successful career in this business area. Don’t worry though, we don’t expect you to be an expert in everything we do. You’ll join our industry leading apprenticeship programme, enabling you to build the necessary skills, knowledge and behaviours to be the best you can be and set you up for future success.
Our 12 month, Level 3 Business Administration Apprenticeship will cover off modules including;
Managing stakeholders
Continuous improvement and problem solving
Project Management
Understanding finance and data
Our Apprenticeships are focused on your development and factor study time into your working week, so you can achieve your qualification without affecting your work-life balance. We provide you with a fantastic support network through; 1:1 coaching, mentoring and technical and skills training to enable you to progress your career with us. Along the way, our experienced team will provide you with plenty of support to ensure you get the best out of your Apprenticeship. And it doesn’t have to end here, as we have a suite of Apprenticeship programmes that can support you to continue to develop your career with us, all the way up to the Boardroom.
What does a typical day look like?
Within this role, you will be providing invaluable support to the CCF Credit Services Team which will allow them to provide the highest levels of service to our Branches and our customers. Within this role you can expect to gain exposure to the wider team, enabling you to explore career opportunities within this area. Your day to day duties will include:
Timely and efficiently process all customer requests for Credit Accounts making credit decisions in accordance with the Company Credit Policy.
Assist with the registering of customer disputes ensuring that they are registered with accurate information and the correct level of detail.
Assist, when necessary, with the allocating of BACS and cheque payments to ensure we meet SLA agreements on a daily basis.
Assist with customer inbound calls making payments
Assist with the reconciliation of the cash book / sales ledger statements
Ensure daily/weekly reporting on disputes, prior and account credit utilisation is published to credit and branch communities.
With your natural organisation skills and love of working collaboratively, you will enjoy taking responsibility and will be confident in taking on a variety of everyday challenges, while maintaining great customer and colleague relationships.
