Marketing Assistant (CRM) - 12 months Maternity cover

We currently have an opportunity for a Marketing Assistant (CRM) on a 12 months fixed term contract based at our Head Office in Crick, Northamptonshire. 
Reporting into the Marketing Manager (Customer), this role is designed to support the creation and execution of targeted triggered communication campaigns, maintaining stakeholder relationships and bringing engaging content to life. This will include campaigns that are based on the marketing trade calendar and supplier funded activity.

Your key accountabilities include: 

  • Supporting the CRM team with a range of reactive and proactive responsibilities such as creation, delivery and reporting of campaigns over various digital media, mainly email and direct mail.
  • Identify, evaluate and implement external services and tools to support data validation and cleansing, and identify areas to increase efficiency and automation of processes.
  • Supporting with content planning, creation and delivery aligned to customer needs. Utilising existing content as well as working with the internal Creative studio to generate new content as required.
  • To develop a portfolio of life cycle and trigger-led BTL campaigns using insight from the Single Customer View, incorporating best eCRM practices. Examples may include abandoned basket campaigns based on browsing history, stretch spend campaigns based on frequency and recency of visit and the introduction of bespoke push notifications based on location or transaction data.
  • To provide full campaign engagement reporting to relevant stakeholders.
  • Work closely with the commercial, online and other marketing functions to deliver meaningful, integrated campaigns supporting key events, product launches and promotions.
What are we looking for? 

With a background in marketing gained either from work experience or through a degree, this is a perfect opportunity to take the next step in your marketing career. You’ll have a good understanding around online and offline CRM campaigns. You’ll have excellent communication skills and be confident of liaising with stakeholders internally and externally. Furthermore, you must be proficient and have experience in working with Google Docs and Excel.
