Marketing Placement (12 Month Student Placement)

The Role

£14,500pa, 22 days holiday, access to a great range of salary exchange schemes and Group discounts. The role is based in Northampton but you may, on occasion, be required to travel to our other sites nationwide

Our one year marketing placement is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic University student who is interested in experiencing a fast paced environment. Join us on your placement journey to put theory into practice, gain hands on experience across a range of marketing disciplines, and see how we place the customer at the heart of everything we do.

You can expect to be responsible for customer led marketing activities, looking at aspects including marketing strategy, planning and execution. You’ll also gain hands on experience of Digital Marketing which will include social media and email campaign implementation, content management, search engine optimisation, and exposure to e-commerce and transactional websites.

You will build on your existing skill set by partnering with branches at a local level, as well as working with a range of departments and gaining valuable exposure to CRM. This will fast track your ability to build and maintain effective relationships, whilst developing your marketing and project management skills through a high profile organisation.

We recruit from all degree backgrounds, all you’ll need to show is a keen interest in Marketing and be working towards a 2:1. We want you to bring your creativity and pride yourself in the quality of the work you undertake. Our recruitment process for this position will start with a short telephone interview. If successful, you will be invited to attend an Assessment Centre in Northampton.
