Keyline Civils Specialists are looking for a National Project Assistant to join them. This role will be covering activity nationally while working remotely. 

Hours - Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm ( 40 Hours per week ) Remote/home working allowed

What will I be doing?
This role will be focused on developing further value for our customer and supplier bases by expanding our offering. This will be achieved through early engagement on large national roads & highways projects whilst also working with our National Account Managers to create working project pipelines and communicating with all Stakeholders. Working closely with our technical team this role positions you as a real crucial part of our future success.

Key Responsibilities:-

  • To build strong relationships with National Accounts Managers,Contractors and Suppliers to deliver the Project Tracking Strategy through consultation, collaboration and influence in areas of strategic priority to create commercial opportunities for Keyline.
  • To be the face of Keyline, hunting and  creating opportunities for the Project & National Sales Team. You will be  integral in understanding and interpreting the needs of the client and the creation of value propositions with the supply chain. Proactively seek out new projects.
  • Interact on a day to day basis with the Supply Chain,National Account Managers and extended Travis Perkins Group to develop a tight relationship. Work with them on all complex and detailed requirements that arise with projects.
  • To be included in commercial meetings and activity relating to projects and products you develop.
  • To create a portfolio of key focus projects and contacts whilst updating the business on a weekly basis.
  • To become an authority for Keyline on project operation, upcoming industry trends, industry news, new product developments and relevant standards / changes.
  • This role will evolve as your experience grows and the strategic aims are landed. Further avenues to innovation, training, responsibility and personal development will open.


Does this sound like you?

  • Strong Civil Engineering product background within either:   Sales / Manufacture / Specification / Engineering / Design
  • Strong organisational and document management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in accuracy.
  • Ability to stay calm and productive when there are urgent deadlines to be met.
  • Ability to build relationships with customers, colleagues & clients.
  • Huge team player
  • Self motivated and ability to work independently
  • Excellent IT skills with confident use of Google applications such as Sheets and Docs along with Microsoft packages.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Enthusiastic to develop personally and professionally through courses, training and charitable work.
