Pricing Coordinator
Location - Northampton, NN6 7SL 
Hours: 42.5 hours per week, working Monday to Friday.

Are you looking to join a busy and fast paced business with great benefits? Our Plumbing and Heating division of Travis Perkins are recruiting for a Pricing Coordinator to join our Estimating team to share our success in a hard-working and friendly environment. The opportunity is full time and based in Northampton.

The role:

The Estimating Department sits at the heart of our Plumbing & Heating division, supporting customers and colleagues with expert pricing and technical knowledge. As part of this industry leading team you will offer a sales support service to the Account Managers by providing technically accurate quotations for their customers. 

Responsibilities will include:

  • Complex data manipulation in spreadsheets, for tender pricing and price file maintenance.
  • Product identification on large specifications.
  • Provide accurate and compliant administration of the quote management system.
  • Amendments to the templates on an ongoing basis.
  • Communicate the price file changes with customers at the earliest convenience to ensure quotes are correct and remain profitable.

What we are looking for:

  • A high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • An outstanding level of customer service.
  • Ability to interpret customer's needs and recommend solutions.
  • Ensure processes are followed in line with department business rules.
  • Ability to build mutually beneficial relationships at all levels with our sales force, branches, suppliers and customers.
  • Ideally with experience in plumbing and heating, this role would suit anyone who can demonstrate a customer focused and can-do attitude.
  • We are looking for someone who is self­ motivated, enthusiastic, organised, has good data and analysis skills, uses their initiative and is happy to communicate and build excellent working relationships with our sales teams and customers with strong administration willing to learn about our products. The ideal candidate will have experience in a commercial environment and buying, exp would be a benefit.
