- Assign tender bids and manage workload of Pricing Coordinators within the team
- Ensure tender pricing is completed within deadlines and according to the commercial guidelines advised by stakeholders involved with the opportunity
- Engage with all internal stakeholders during the bid process, involving organising and managing briefing and update sessions where appropriate
- Manage regular pricing reviews of major contracts, maintaining margins by effective pass through of any cost increases while adhering to contractual terms
- Review, update and continually improve the systems involved with estimating/pricing, trading margin enhancement and project development processes
- Develop greater product and market awareness of existing and new sectors in order to ensure quotes are comprehensively and competitively priced
- Develop awareness of Managed Services preferred product and supplier strategy and influence strategy where possible to ensure the most commercially beneficial supply chain
- Manage a team of Pricing Coordinators, including personal development and succession planning in order to maintain consistent standards of pricing and drive process and margin improvements
- A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- An outstanding level of customer service (internal and external customers)
- Ability to lead a team
