Are you commercially driven and looking for an opportunity to work in a dynamic pricing team? We have an opportunity at Travis Perkins to work as a Pricing Specialist to join our TP Managed Services team in Northampton. 

Working as part of the TP Managed Services pricing team, you will have total responsibility for completing all pricing and price reviews including tenders, customer price reviews, new product code production and the development of a clear and consistent product and pricing approach. You will also drive trading margin improvement initiatives including price reviews, claimbacks, product switching, customer margin analysis and supplier consolidation.

Your accountabilities will include: 

- Interpreting and completing tender pricing ensuring that all pricing documents are completed in full and in the correct format.
- Ensure that all quotations are accurately raised on the company’s quotation system and in accordance with any relevant commercial or financial models.
- Maximising the use of products from TP’s preferred supply chain
- Ensure a supply chain is in place to allow new market product opportunities to be exploited
- Negotiate pricing support agreements with suppliers wherever possible
- Assist with the management of product & pricing reviews & compiling customer catalogues as and when required
- Assist the management team with continual improvement and other project development initiatives as and when required
- Arrange the setup of new product codes as and when required

Is this you?

We’re looking for a highly ambitious individual, ideally with previous experience of working in a pricing and estimating team. You’ll need to have sound commercial knowledge, excellent communication skills and demonstrable experience of working with buyers and suppliers.
