Travis Perkins plc have a fantastic opportunity for a Product Assistant to Join our friendly team in our own branded bathroom category! 

As a valued member of the team within the Commercial Department, you will adopt responsibility for our varied product lines and ensure they are the number one choice for our customers.

You will help source and develop our products through their journey from their original source, anywhere in the world, right through to it being put onto the shelves in one of our branches. With day to day responsibilities including liaising with suppliers, carrying out trend and consumer analysis, visiting suppliers and trade fairs when required, taking ownership of your own product area overseen by your Product Manager and briefing packaging. You will gain valuable exposure to the commercial world and develop vital skills to build a successful career.

As a part of a hard working, dedicated team you will need the confidence to build relationships, be prepared to work at pace, hold your own under pressure and most of all not be afraid to get stuck in.

We are looking for individuals who are ideally educated to degree level or have some experience in a Commercial role who can demonstrate strong learning agility. We’re looking for a candidate with a real interest in gaining exposure to the commercial side of our business as part of their career development within the field.
