What you’ll do
As our Product Development manager, you’ll have the power to lead and own the product development life cycle for a specific group of Benchmarx categories whilst also driving portfolio profitability and SKU efficiency for a market leading product offer. You’ll also be responsible for the delivery of detailed SKU level data analysis, consumer & trade market data analysis and insights, product design, innovation & development and value engineering programmes to future proof the Benchmarx kitchen assortment.
Some responsibilities of the role include:
- Identify and develop market leading (and customer led) design initiatives that will drive the profitable growth of Kitchen and joinery Categories
- Product Range Definition & Portfolio Management
- Reviewing the profitability of ranges & making decisions to develop / retain / reduce / eliminate.
- Lead & integrate closely on selection and decision making
- Develop constructive & supportive relationships within the wider Marketing Department & the Product Development Panel.
- Develop & maintain effective relationships with strategic suppliers
- Support Marketing on CGI / photography, catalogue content, in store graphics/POS, in-store layouts, bay designs, decorative specifications and display dressing solutions
- Support the Head of Product with the delivery of the full end to end Go-To-Market strategy
Is this you?
You will have experience in a relevant Product Development role or industry experience would be great! Related Category Management & Product Development / Design for a multiple retail/trade business. A technical awareness of Kitchens with the ability to spot and interpret fashion and design trends and Strong analytic skills to manipulate data and identify opportunities. You will also need good project management skills with the ability to lead and influence.
