Due to a number of large-scale projects and developments in the pipeline, Travis Perkins has the need to invest in the growth of its Network support and deployment team. Key Responsibilities

We are currently seeking an experienced and original thinking Project Manager to support the Network Services E2E team and to take direct hands on control of specific project delivery, either of projects sponsored by the Head of Network Services, or those changes delivered by the Network Services team in support of other business initiatives.

To provide a point of control and management for designated projects led by Network Services in the development of their portfolio.

To ensure project delivery is aligned to the overall IT standards and controls for project delivery activity.

To work with the Senior Project Manager to shape and cost a rolling 5 year AOP set of costed projects to deliver essential change to the Network Services portfolio.

To manage the requests for small pieces of work in support of other business initiatives, such as firewall changes.

To provide quality project reporting and resource forecasting of project delivery.

It would be great if you had...

A broad experience of managing projects.

Strong project management control of 3rd parties.

Excellent stakeholder management skills and influence and impact both externally and internally.

Good financial management experience and appreciation of essential financial controls.

Excellent team management capability.

The ability to move on within IT to lead larger programmes in other areas.
