Job Description

We have a need for a Racking Specialist to come and join our Facilities Management department as a Facilities Support Manager, with exciting expansion opportunities this could be your next best move!

Due to the nature of this role you can based from any location, as this is field based. 

What you’ll do

You will support the Head of Facilities in our facilities management team by pulling on your knowledge of legislation and regulations affecting racking and its construction. Having a good understanding of the design of racking and its key component parts & maintenance, obtaining specialist advice, aligning with company procedures, and your understanding of procuring Contract Administration and Management.

Supporting the management of programmed works and associated spend, including budgetary management, re-forecasting and reporting. Resolution of day to day issues along with reporting back to the business to ensure Travis Perkins racking is maintained in a safe condition and in accordance with legislation.

Utilising your excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills to support your internal colleagues/partners and ensure our suppliers deliver against their contractual obligations and H&S standards whilst driving continuous improvement, service and management innovation.

Is this you?

It would be great if you have or are training towards a CIPS, IWFM or equivalent. You will have knowledge of Racking services and have experience within facilities management/supplier, contract management, negotiation or similar and can demonstrate managing complex procurement programmes. Due to the nature of the role you will need a driving licence as you will be required to travel to meet suppliers and stakeholders. You will be self motivated and have the ability to and motivate others and have great influencing skills.
