We are looking for a Rebate Controller to join our Group Rebates Finance Team, part of the Finance Shared Central Services Department, based in Northampton.  Reporting to the Group Finance Manager - Rebates, you will look for opportunities to challenge supplier income settlements from the prior year. You’ll need to be organised, prepared to work autonomously and enjoy analysing large volumes of data.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Review prior year supplier payments versus our system accrual.

• Perform deep dive reconciliations between supplier and Group data.

• Engage with Commercial Managers to provide support with supplier challenges

• Contact suppliers and to explain the query regarding their payments

• Provide regular updates on work in progress and status of supplier challenges

You will work in a proactive, fast paced environment with lots of opportunity to progress.

To be considered for this role, you will need to have strong excel skills (understanding reports, pivot tables, formulas). Communication is also a key part of this role - as you will liaise key stakeholders both inside and outside the business.
