Key responsibilities:
Maintain data integrity of Dealtrack system ensuring all rebates & other supplier contributions agreements are input & payments from suppliers (BACS, credit / debit note or cheque) are correctly allocated within the agreed terms.
Check all relevant batch jobs required for data transfer / uploads into Dealtrack are set up and any exceptions flagged and managed. Ensure any deal entry / data issues which result in incorrect rebate accruals are fixed in conjunction with the commercial team.
Reconcile Dealtrack debtor to the general ledger debtor balance.
Reconcile unallocated cash receipts in the balance sheet. Flag rebates missing from Dealtrack with the commercial team.
Track and manage debt recovery from suppliers. Action write offs are per the finance policies.
Perform an analytical review of the Dealtrack data using the payment history report to identify unexplained variances.
Supervising the staff who perform the day to day activities.
Liaise with Accounts Payable / Commercial/ Supply Chain where supplier payment issues cause problems collecting income from suppliers.
What are we looking for?
Proficiency in English and in MS Office Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers
High degree of accuracy
AAT qualified or potential desire to study an accounting qualification
Understanding of invoicing and supplier communications
Proven working experience within finance function
