Regional Account Manager - Rail


Are you a fantastic communicator with excellent customer service skills who has the ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team? We’re on the lookout for an experienced, commercially minded and creative Rail Account Manager to join Keyline working within the specialist Rail Division in the South East region.


Keyline is an innovative company and is the UK's number one supplier of civils, heavy building materials and drainage solutions, with a nationwide network of branches and our aim is to be the Trusted Civils Specialist.


What you’ll do

You will look after the sales of civil, drainage, heavy building materials and specialist products for a number of Key Accounts in your sales area, predominantly within the rail sector. Having close involvement with our South East Contract Sales Office, you will operate within your own defined territory, maximising sales at every opportunity and expanding our Rail customer base by identifying and developing new accounts.

We are after someone who’s enthusiastic, resilient and resourceful, with a sharp eye for identifying new sales opportunities and a passion for excellence.  A person who is dynamic with a keen willingness to learn. Being well-organised and planned goes without saying, as you will be responsible for meeting our valued customer expectations.


The successful candidate will have:

  • Proven ability to manage a number of large key customers and build strong relationships with multiple stakeholders

  • Knowledge of civils and drainage is beneficial, although full training will be provided

  • Background in the Rail industry essential 

  • Strong abilities in understanding customer objectives in order to develop successful strategic plans

  • Identified new sales opportunities and created solutions for customers to deliver long term profitable sales growth for both parties
