Our Managed Services Division is looking to recruit a truly inspirational Regional Director overlooking the Midlands. Reporting to the Managed Services Managing Director and working alongside regional teams, you will be leading a regional business unit covering, business development, operations, account management and project management functions. Leading the regional team, you will be responsible for the entire P&L delivery including, customer acquisition, lifecycle management and retention to hit annual operating targets and plans.
What are we looking for?
To succeed in this role, a background/experience within housing associations is highly desirable, along with multi-site experience within a senior operational and sales role (or) be able to clearly demonstrate the competency. With exceptional communication and influencing skills, you will have the ability to engage with a diverse set of stakeholders and be able to make informed decisions.
A visionary, collaborative and engaging leader, you will be highly motivated, innovative, tenacious and be able to work in a fast-paced environment. You will have exceptional customer relationship management skills and the ability to create and sustain long-term partnerships. With a high level of supplier, competitor and market commercial understanding, you will be able to drive business growth to make a real difference to the bottom line.
Principle Accountabilities:
Review the financial performance of the managed services business and create plans to ensure sales, margins & overheads are supporting the achievement of the AOP. Where areas and trends of concern are identified, you’ll ensure appropriate plans exist to rectify promptly.
Be a key contributor to refining the Managed Services Strategy, responsible for identifying and proposing innovative solutions to key business opportunities.
Understand the commercial opportunities within existing and new customers in the area and ensure those are capitalised upon.
Understand your competitive landscape and foster solid relationships with your key customers and prospects in order to retain and build sales. Set plans and agree targets with the MD Managed Services with clear plans underpinning new customer growth and existing customer upselling. Work with regional directors to ensure service capabilities are maintained and enhanced for the benefit of the customer.
Prepare and agree with the Managed Service Managing Director, a plan to relentlessly drive high standards and create pride in what we do and how we operate within Managed Services.
Through engaging and influencing Regional Managing Directors and Regional Directors, ensure the team are aligned to deliver and expand performance.
Continually review Managed Services Talent and succession (both at branch and direct team level), and seek out opportunities to strengthen the Managed Services pipeline and grow winning teams that deliver strong performances day in day out.
Recognised as a proactive leader, creating a generative culture focused on safety, performance standards and compliance in relation to colleagues, suppliers and customers. You will coach and support to drive continuous improvement whilst also demonstrating the behaviours required to foster an open, fair and just culture.
Engaging with the Branch and Managed Services team in order to influence and support colleagues to be the best they can be.
Lead, motivate and inspire a team who are recognised as experts in their field, providing unrivalled support to our Branch colleagues.
