Regional Managing Director

With progression comes opportunity! Due to yet another progressive internal career move, we are able to present a great opportunity for a Regional Managing Director to continue the exciting growth trajectory of our North of England and Scotland region here at Travis Perkins. 

You will lead, inspire and develop 7 Regional Directors who look after 190 branches and a wider team of 1200. The Region's current turnover is £450m and growing. We have high hopes for the North and Scotland growth strategy, so we’re keen to find someone with the commercial, strategic and creative agility to thrive in our brilliant culture and drive an ambitious growth strategy.

• The North and Scotland region has some really exciting Flagship branch openings that will set us apart from our competition in 2023.

•  As we come closer as a group and get even closer to our customers, there will be the opportunity and challenge of integrating our Toolhire and our kitchen brand Benchmarx to ensure they are more prominent in our customer offering across the region

• You’ll work with a brilliant team of Regional Directors, who will continue the development of an enticing culture that encourages development, growth, opportunity and enjoyment and of course success!

Who are we looking for?

• We’re pretty sure you’ll come from a merchant, wholesale or multi-site product distribution business. 

• You will be a brilliant ‘people’ person. Our culture is humble, down to earth and people make our business what it is.

• You’ll be naturally ambitious and enjoy the challenge of a competitive landscape.

• We’re passionate about our Customers, so you will have to be too! You’ll pride yourself on your relationship skills. 

• You will have a successful track record of developing sales, increasing profit and delivering operational change in a significant size business or region.
