Job Description

Regional Sales Negotiator / Internal sales

Joining our family as a Regional Sales Negotiator / Internal Sales person, you’ll strike fantastic deals that take sales sky‐high. With our premium products and your super sales skills, we can be the best in our field.

As an employee of BSS and the larger Travis Perkins Group, you can expect a chance of opportunities for progression with the business and the wider group. You will be joining a business with fantastic family values of which being a market leader enables job security.

You’ll be at the heart of each purchase, negotiating the best possible prices. Brilliant with customers, you’ll give great service, follow up every quotation and pursue sales leads.  That takes pin‐sharp business sense and a polite but determined approach.

Having prior experience in a builder’s merchant environment would be beneficial, but BSS are open to candidates with prior experience not necessarily in this environment.

We are looking for the kind of experienced sales professional who: 

       * Is commercially sharp

       * Has a proven talent for negotiation  

       * Is good with people and great in a team

       * Has the drive to get results 

       * Can use computers and IT

Established over 110 years ago, we became a part of the Travis Perkins Group in 2010 and now have more than 60 BSS branches, along with a National Distribution Centre at Lutterworth in the East Midlands and a National Tube Distribution Centre in Coventry.
