We are CCF, a nationwide distributor of insulation and interior building products to the UK construction industry, we are also part of the well known Travis Perkins Group and this opportunity is based in our new branch in Tyseley, East Birmingham. We are a fabulous friendly team of 15 in the branch. 

Our working hours also offer a great work life balance - most of our customers choose to enjoy their weekends and bank holidays which means you can too!  Our opening hours will be Monday-Friday 6.00am - 6.00pm, however working hours will be 42.5 hours a week with some flexibility required to suit the business needs (discussed further at interview stage).

What will I be doing?
No one day is the same as the next in CCF branch life, but here are a few pointers:
  • With your newly trained product knowledge, and data received you will be making outbound calls to new, existing or lapsed customers, proactively promoting new initiatives, promotional activities, whilst also supporting selected branches to help them grow share of their local market.
  • You’ll work within the branch, maximising sales at every opportunity and expanding our customer base by helping to identify and develop new accounts. 
  • Our business is based on strong relationships and repeat business, so it's key that you can gain an understanding of their needs and requirements to help to deliver sales growth via the selected contacts within our business.
What experience do you need?
  • Previous experience in a similar role. e.g Telesales, Customer Call Centres, Telemarketing or any other sales related role.
  • Ability to work on your own initiative and effectively as part of a team.
  • Good organisational skills with the ability to plan and prioritise your work and meet deadlines.
  • Good numerical skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to relate to a broad spectrum of individuals.
  • IT literate - good working knowledge of software applications (full product training will be provided).
