Senior Account Manager 
South West -  Bristol, Bath, Swindon, Salisbury.
Field Based 
Salary: £Competitive
Hours: 40

Travis Perkins plc are currently recruiting for a Senior Account Manager to bring focus and clarity to the New Build sales growth within our Central region, whilst influencing the National & Regional sales objectives.

Duties Include:

Establish, in conjunction with the New Business Development Manager sales and business objectives to achieve increased market penetration
To achieve or exceed the establish budget level of sales at budgeted margins, through the generation of new business from both existing and new customers throughout your area of responsibility.
To produce forward plans to identify new markets and new market challenges with special emphasis on added value products and services.
To effect market penetration by developing strategies to increase specifications and development in new sectors.
To gather and collate all necessary market intelligence data covering technical and market trends, competitors activities and customer opinions, producing the necessary plans and strategies to respond effectively.
Be actively involved in the recommendations to existing/new customers products within the supply chain that take into account all customer requirements.
To ensure the delivery of an excellent level of service to customers and that the highest standard of proactive internal and external communication is achieved.
To recognise where products and services have a distinct competitive advantage and the features and benefits of all products and services are understood by all.To bring fresh impetus and direction to the sales function whilst challenging the status quo.
