Are you hungry for sales, do you love chasing a lead to secure a sale going above and beyond for your customers and just having that winning mentality.  If you have a thirst for learning  and are looking for a  new opportunity then we would love to hear from you.  We are looking for a Senior Sales Executive to join our Middlesbrough branch.


Our Middlesbrough branch is on Sutherby Road, which is a medium size operation.  We are recruiting at the minute across different roles but would normally have a team of 18 and be running 4 delivery vehicles, the branch also have a successful Benchmarx Showroom.  This branch has a footfall of around 60-80 Trade customers a day, most we know on a first name basis aiming to increase when we have a full team.  Our Branch Manager has been in the Trade business for many years but is new to this branch, so we are looking for individuals that have the drive and enthusiasm to learn and are willing to just get stuck in ! 
 
Hours - Monday - Friday 7.30am - 5pm and Saturday’s 8am-12pm (working 2 in 4 Saturdays)

What will I be doing?
  • As part of a new branch team, we would love you to get involved in the recruitment of the counter sales team.  We would also like you to take a lead in supporting the sales team, which in time could potentially turn into a supervisory role.
  • As the branch grows, we will continue to be a fast paced team, who are focused on offering the best service to our customers, to secure that repeated business
  • You’ll provide high quality customer service face to face on the counter, over the phone and via email.
  • You’ll take ownership for a number of customer ledgers, providing quotes and be proactive in following these up, also chasing potential leads
  • You’ll be offering a single point of contact for pricing and ordering products for our Customers.
  • Ensure all customer and supplier queries are actioned and resolved in a timely manner. 

What we are looking for
The successful candidate must have a strong sales background, industry experience would be advantageous, but its really not essential as full product knowledge training will be provided.  We do want your transferable skills though, someone with an eye for detail, great customer service, sales and someone that can build strong relationships quickly.
