We are recruiting for a Stock Controller based in our Birkenhead branch on Turbine Business Park. This is a busy branch and no one day is the same, the branch has a great atmosphere, fun and professional, putting our colleagues and customers first at all times. We have a team of 12 colleagues to support you and are running 3 delivery vehicles from this site. We also have a Tool Hire department, making us the best Builders Merchant in town!

This role is a zero hours contract position to working between our opening hours which are Monday to Friday 7.30am - 5.00pm and Saturday 8am - 12pm. At this time we can commit to 30 to 40 hours per week but please note this can change.

What experience do you need?
Being a Stock Controller/Merchandiser today would be advantageous, but it's really not essential, as we will provide you with a great onboarding and induction and provide you with the product knowledge you need to be successful.

What will I be doing?
No one day is the same as the next in TP branch life, and with your new found product knowledge and understanding of our business, here are a few pointers:
  • Working towards best in class inventory practices, assisting to reduce and drive site accuracy
  • Driving and maintaining stock levels and availability
  • Making pricing adjustments
  • To manage our inventory audits 
  • When ready - taking a lead with team stock takes
  • Reporting of stock KPI’s.
