Studio Manager
Location - Crick
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Studio Manager to join us at the Travis Perkins P&H division in Crick. Reporting into the Senior Marketing Manager, this is an excellent opportunity where you will be responsible for a wide range of accountabilities; you will be responsible for the day to day running of the in-house design studio, managing stakeholder and supplier relationships amongst others duties.
This role is responsible for managing a team of 9 individuals, and therefore it is essential that you have some degree of people management skills
Your key accountabilities in this role will include:
Day to day management and accountability for the Studio including conversion of briefs, project trafficking, quality control, planning & resource management, print and delivery to ensure artwork is consistently delivered in line with the relevant brand guidelines.
Ownership of stakeholder management for the studio to keep customers informed of their projects, timings and budgets to help manage business expectations, meeting deadlines and providing PODs where needed.
Management of quotes and tender submissions for effective cost control. Supplier management to ensure all campaigns, digital, print and POS requirements are delivered on time and in full. To work with suppliers to get the best value for money, without compromising on quality or format.
Continually working to improve processes, timelines and SLAs to support the business through delivery and successful implementation of approved systems and software (in line with budgets).
Quoting and reporting to project leads on spend levels, adding value and expertise for the best / most appropriate print and POS finishes, substrates and formats to get the best value for money for the business.
Report on ROI for all studio initiatives and post project wash-ups to help drive best practice, managing the annual studio plan to ensure activity and priorities are aligned to the business, marketing and operational objectives and priorities.
Directly manage the Studio team and mentor team members; including coaching and developing and performance evaluations.
Provide support across other divisional brands to drive best practice and establish best in class ways of working.
To be considered for this role, if you would be great if you had:
Proven track record managing a studio
Excellent people management skills.
Thorough understanding of scheduling, print and production processes
Good understanding of design and artwork process
External freelance and creative services procurement
Breadth of experience across print & digital design
Qualified to degree level (preferred)
Studio Artworking experience (preferred)
