Supply Chain Analyst

What you’ll do

The aim of this role is to provide great availability of products to customers, through either our distribution centres or direct to our branches and customers. Having great availability of products is essential to our business, and supply chain analysts ensure that all touch points of a product's journey are aligned, from the supplier, through to purchasing, distribution and branch teams.It's essential that we carry just the right amount of stock in the business, too little and we can't supply customers, too much and we overwhelm our distribution centres and branches.

Working in an ever changing environment you’ll take responsibility for the availability and stock budget for anything up to 2000 products that our customers need.  Utilising your exceptional communication skills and stakeholder management skills you will act as the key operational interface between supplier, warehouses, buying, marketing and branch operations for all product supply issues.

We need you to have great analytical and communication skills and be able to plan ahead using the various IT systems we have and make sure that you’re always on the lookout for opportunities to increase availability and profitability. You will need to be able to make compelling arguments to support your analysis, and build excelling relationships that always keep our customers front of mind.
