Supply Chain Director or Head of Supply Chain - Tool Hire

We have ambitious plans for our Tool Hire business as we strive to provide the very best products and the very best availability to our customers. 

To help us achieve this we’re keen to find a Supply Chain Director or Head of Supply Chain who is looking for a challenge that will provide them with a much wider commercial remit than most traditional supply chain opportunities.

You may already be doing a Supply Chain Directors Role, however, we’re also passionate about development, so we would welcome applications from Senior Supply Chain Managers and Heads of Supply Chain. 

We operate a hybrid working model, however, with all supply chain careers there will be some travel, so we perceive that Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, Northamptonshire, Warwickshire, Leicestershire, Buckinghamshire, West Midlands, Home Counties and Oxfordshire would be good locations, however, we're open to applications farther a field.

This opportunity will include all the following elements of challenge: - Movement of Product around the UK Branch network,  Fleet Management, Centralised Repairs & Servicing, A significant Product Capex, Compliance and elements of Reverse Logistics. 

The types of opportunities you will have to capitalise on are similar to the below, however, no day will be the same and the opportunities are endless:- 

• Develop a best in class strategy to enhance our customer experience and process efficiencies taking into consideration the aforementioned challenges. 

• Developing a strategy to drive an enhanced customer and efficiency focussed distribution and fleet management function in order to support our growth ambition.  

• Develop our online capability.

• Designing and Implementing a distribution model to maximise fleet utilisation and product availability.

• Work with the branch network to maximise fleet efficiency.

• Develop our existing service and repair offering across the UK.

• Develop, implement and deliver a compelling transformation strategy. 

• Develop and leading a high performing diverse & inclusive team 

• Work with the wider leadership team to share valuable insights
