Travis Perkins Group is looking for a Sustainable Product Assistant on a 6 month fixed term contract to help support all our commercial teams. 

What you’ll do

The role holder will work with all business commercial teams to profile products against sustainability criteria to allow for bespoke reporting to customers, the development of sustainable product marketing materials and sustainable product searches on business websites. 

As our Sustainable Product Assistant you will work with the Group Sustainability Director, commercial teams and data teams to develop a proposed approach to profiling of products. Once the approach is defined and approved by the Commercial Board, you will work with the commercial teams in each business to allocate sustainability attributes to products and map out the sustainability headlines for each product category.

This role will require you to develop content for a Sustainable Buildings guide (Group & Business) which would be shareable with customers to support them in choosing alternative products based on sustainability criteria. You will also be required to work with the business website teams to make products searchable and comparable against sustainability criteria.

If you have excellent research skills, excellent project management skills, marketing skills and excellent communication and engagement skills then this role could be for you! 

It would be great if you have experience of delivering complex projects working with a wide number of
stakeholders, strong work ethic and drive to succeed. If you have basic knowledge of sustainable construction / products / regulations / standards. If you have an Undergraduate degree with knowledge of  net zero construction or circular economy.
