What you’ll do

The role of a Technical & BIM manager is to provide digital design and technical support for the business, ensuring the BSS proposition offers a market leading level of capability and support for our customers. As the Technical & BIM Manager you will work directly with the Technical Director to develop the national BIM proposition and deliver this out within the business.You will develop, complete and model which will automate the design process which will offer customers a simplified solution to their design requirements. 

Along with the above you will: 
- Provide national support to the Technical Sales Manager roles through the development of BIM and system analysis 
- Oversee the development of the BSS BIM warehouse and ensure new models are built to the required standard 
- Development of a systems roadmap to support the future technical requirements of the business 
- Work with the commercial function to ensure any range gaps are addressed and provide technical support to sourcing projects

Is this you

The successful candidate will have a degree or equivalent where you gained an engineering qualification. It is important that you have experience within HVAC system design and a high level or digital building design knowledge e.g BIM and CAD. You will need to be highly organised and can demonstrate project management skills. With the nature of this role you will need to be an highly effective communicator that feels comfortable with working across multiple functions in order to deliver a programme of work.
