We have a fantastic opportunity for a Technical Business Analyst to join our Group Technology Department, taking a pivotal role as part of our growing Business Analysis Practice team focusing on System and Data Integration.

What you’ll do

Working closely alongside the Lead Analyst and other Analysts within the Integration Team, you will take responsibility for: 

- Working on a range of work (small change through to large scale projects) in the Technical Business Analyst role
- Collecting clear, comprehensive and detailed requirements for Integration work
- Feeding these requirements through to Engineering Teams
- Continuous improvement of the Integration and Business Analysis Practice related processes
- Acting as consultant to the wider business regarding all things Analysis and Integration
 
To achieve this successfully you will be expected to develop and nurture close working relationships with other technology teams and key stakeholders across the business.
 
You are...

You are skilled in all aspects of Analysis including requirements/user story definition and management, stakeholder management, system integration technologies and architecture, data driven processes and understanding business change. And of course, excellent communication skills and a keen eye for detail are a must.
 
- You are someone who has an in-depth knowledge of IT, specifically how system integration can be successfully achieved to drive business processes via the use of data. 
- You are approachable yet able to challenge and drive consensus. 
- You’re always curious and eager to learn, conscientious, organised and decisive. 
- You demand quality from yourself, are able to work independently or as part of a team and always want to change things for the better. 
- You are comfortable bridging the gap between business and technical requirements, ideally with a knowledge of integration technologies.
- You thrive in an agile engineering environment yet you’re equally at home in large change programmes.
 
As a Technical Business Analyst you will be part of the Integration Team at Travis Perkins but also a member of the Business Analysis Practice combining analytical skills with a sound technical knowledge to understand and implement business processes via strong technology decisions.
