The role
Being a Tool Hire Fitter/Driver at BSS takes a lot of character. It calls for someone who enjoys working with people and has the enthusiasm it takes to deliver more than just goods, but fantastic service too.
Working within our high standards of safety, you will make sure that all hire equipment complies with relevant legislation, to provide our customers with equipment that’s properly serviced and absolutely safe to use. By providing the right instructions, you will make sure that customers are able to maximise the use of the equipment in line with their individual requirements.

What we are looking for
You  will  ideally  be  a  multi  drop  experienced  driver  and  have  tool  service  knowledge.  While driving our vehicles you are the face of BSS and the way in which you represent the company is just  as  important  as  the  goods  you  deliver.  A  positive  attitude  and  professional  manner  is  a must.

Established over 110 years ago, we became a part of the Travis Perkins Group in 2010 and now have more than 60 BSS branches, along with a National Distribution Centre at Lutterworth in the East Midlands and a National Tube Distribution Centre in Coventry. We have a wealth of experience in our people - technical support, customer care, product engineering and design along with our market leading own brand - BOSS.
