Tool Hire Fitter - Service Engineer

As Tool Hire Fitter Engineer at Travis Perkins Fleet Repair Centre, you will play a vital role in supporting our Tool Hire Branches . Reporting to the workshop supervisor you will be responsible for preparation, testing, servicing and repairing of all equipment returned from our branches identified as a major repair. What you'll do?

As a Tool Hire Fitter you will be tasked with the maintenance, service and repair of a fleet of construction equipment. Responsibilities include: - Safety is at the forefront of everything we do, so you will need to adhere and be compliant to all Tool Hire processes and procedures including all Tool Hire audits and inspections. - Diagnostics of faults with tool hire equipment - Reactive and preventative repair of tool hire equipment - Documenting and filing service information / records - Completion of all work in accordance with manufacturer guidelines - Representing the business in a professional customer focused manner at all times

What experience do you need? Previous experience within the Tool Hire Industry or a good understanding of electrical, petrol and diesel equipment is essential.
