Looking for a new challenge, maybe a new industry, do you have exceptional Customer Service experience along with Sales experience, then look no further, we have a great management role for you.  We are looking for a Tool Hire Manager in our Crowborough branch.

This is a great first branch to really understand how Travis Perkins branches operate and you don't need to come from our sector or know our products! 

The Crowborough is based on Farningham Road, they have a great team, the Branch Manager has created a fun and professional atmosphere, they have 10 colleagues and 4 delivery vehicles. It's a busy branch with over 100 trade customers a day. We are planning long term, so we are looking for future Branch Managers & Assistant Managers, so if you are willing to learn every aspect of branch life, are hard working and ambitious, we would love to hear from you.  

Hours - Monday to Friday 7am - 4.30pm or 7.30am - 5pm and Saturdays 8am -1pm, you don't have to work every Saturday our colleagues do 2 in 4.

What will I be doing?
  • No one day is the same as the next in TP branch life, and now that you have had a great onboarding and induction, here are a few pointers:
  • With your learned knowledge of the products and services we offer, you will be a pivotal contact for our customers, nurturing great relationships, understanding their needs in order to offer expert advice and recommending alternatives to meet their individual needs and maximise the sale of goods.
  • Our success is built on strong relationships with our customers so it’s essential that you can help coach a team to deliver the highest standards of service. 
  • Safety is at the forefront of everything we do, your aim will be to ensure that all our colleagues and customers leave the Branch safely, by adhering to all stay safe policies and procedures. 
  • Being commercially aware, you will support the Assistant / Branch Manager in managing all aspects of the Crowborough Branch and business.
  • Being part of the branch management team you will also be a key holder.

  • We ideally are looking for a manager looking to take their next step or someone with this tool hire experience looking to progress into management.
