Then look no further, we may have the perfect job for you!  Due to growth plans, we have an exciting opportunity in our first ever Tool Hire Hub in Barking, East London.  The Hub is going from strength to strength, we support over 60 branches across the South East region, its purpose is to deliver hire equipment to our customers, repair our equipment and trial new ideas for hire, this is a great opportunity to partner with our Group Hire businesses, Keyline, BSS, CCF and their Branch and Tool Hire Managers.

Opening Hours - Monday to Friday 6am - 5pm, we have a full time opportunity, 42.5 hours per week - flexible hours - to be discussed at interview stage.

What will I be doing?
  • As the Tool Hire Specialist, you will be accountable for ensuring the Hub Centre delivers on its commitment in offering stock availability to our branches across TP, Keyline, BSS, and CCF within our agreed timescales. 
  • To ensure safe execution of our Tool Hire equipment to branch customers and external customers, whilst continuing to provide an outstanding customer service.
  • Ensuring that we are adhering to all timelines and that stakeholders are regularly updated of the contract process.
  • Safety is at the forefront of everything we do, so ensuring the safe return of our equipment is in full and that all Health & Safety, Environmental policies, procedures and guidelines are met.
  • In this multi-skilled role, you will be tasked with ensuring all tools and hire equipment is serviced, tested and safe for use and readily available for hire.

What experience do you need?
  • Being an internal colleague, experience and knowledge of POS is beneficial
  • Previous experience of repairing and servicing Plant and Hire equipment is essential as well as product knowledge of use.
  • Excellent communication skills are required as well as stakeholder management across our branch network
  • A full clean UK driving licence is required.
