- Responsible for the compliance and efficient management of the branch transport operation and the improvement of driver standards
- Responsible for ensuring full compliance for vehicles and drivers, the reporting and management of accidents
- Meeting agreed Transport/Fleet targets - utilisation and capacity targets
- Planning / routing deliveries
- You’ll be a true leader, capable of developing and motivating your direct reports
- You’ll need to coach your team and make sure they provide a first‐class, professional service
- Safety is at the forefront of everything we do, your aim will be to ensure that our standards never slip, by adhering to all stay safe policies and procedures. Including checking that Drivers comply with the law and that vehicles are inspected in line with company and governing body procedures
- Be responsible for the success of a vital area of our business
- Working with the whole branch team to ensure great customer service is achieved.
- Playing a key part in stock management including goods in and out, and stock take.
- Proven experience of managing a small transport fleet
- Creates high‐performing, engaged and motivated teams
- Advantageous to have an understanding of CPC driver modules
- Along with having the ability to provide great customer service and have experience in a similar role, we can teach you the rest.

- Someone that has a friendly and outgoing personality who is happy to communicate face to face with the branch team and build strong relationships
