Warehouse Sales Assistant - Yard

Do you like helping people, and don’t mind working outside, then we may have the role for you, a Warehouse Sales Assistant in our Yard.  You don't need to come from our sector or even know our products, as long as you have the ability to provide great customer service, we will support you with a great onboarding experience. 

We are looking to invest in our future and the successful candidate will be given the opportunity to obtain a HGV license through us!

Our opening hours are - Monday - Friday 7.30am - 5pm and Saturdays 8am-12pm (you only need to work 2 in 4 Saturdays).  

You will join our Uttoxeter branch, which is a small size operation based in our midlands region, the branch already has a fantastic, well-established team of 6 and they are running 1 delivery vehicle. Uttoxeter branch is a great team and the Branch Manager has created a fun and professional atmosphere.

What will I be doing?

No one day is the same as the next in TP branch life, but now that you have completed your onboarding, here are a few pointers:

• Candidates will need to be 18yrs or over,  as you will be driving a forklift, but don't worry full training is provided
• As part of the Yard Sales team, you will be on the front line dealing with our customers that come into our yard, so its key to be helpful and friendly at all times
• You will be based outside, processing our customer orders, loading and unloading customer and company vehicles. Also unloading our building products from supplier deliveries and accurately book them in the branch warehouse.
