Our warehouse team are key to the success of making sure the correct products are at the right location at the right time. Our Primary Distribution Hub services over 900 Travis Perkins owned branches.

As a Shift Leader, you would be responsible for overseeing a team of Sections Leaders and Warehouse Colleagues, ensuring that the work schedule is being followed correctly and safely. Shift Leaders at Travis Perkins take a “hands on” approach, it’s important you’re willing to be involved with your team and lead from the front to keep colleagues motivated and engaged. We are always looking at ways of working and how to make things “better”. Because of this, the successful candidate must be willing to be involved in site projects and support with improvement plans across the site.

Requirements:

> Experience of working in a warehouse/distribution environment at Shift Manager/Front Line Manager level.
> Must be experienced in understanding and managing KPI’s to get the most out of your team 
> Have a continuous improvement mindset and always has the customer at the heart of everything they do 
> Effective communicator, both written and verbal. Shift Leaders must be confident in delivering messages and updates to a group of Warehouse Colleagues.
> Understand the importance of Health and Safety. Can lead from the front to ensure safe working practices are being followed by everyone at all times.
