Sales Co-ordinator (Estimating department)
£Competitive Salary + Benefits
Northampton

As our sales co-ordinator you will collaborate with suppliers for the relevant materials from the customer's project.

Having the ability to read architectural plans, create supplier connections and gaining a broad product knowledge is invaluable within the Building Materials industry. 

Skills that are vital for this particular role would be excellent customer service, to create relationships with the department, suppliers, branches and customers along with some product knowledge. You will also:
  • Assist the Estimating Team in engaging the appropriate suppliers to obtain supplier quotations for a swift end to end process.
  • Ensure the customer receives a comprehensive service which includes all supplier quotations as requested.
  • Liaise with branches to follow up supplier quotations to establish if jobs are won or lost.
  • Report on outgoing workflow alongside the Senior Estimating Team to share with the Assistant Manager to regulate team lead times.
  • Support the Estimating Team Administrator with the day to day workflow for a consistent process within both the department, branches and customers.
  • Working with the Technical Services Management Team, to arrange and support supplier meetings to create new connections with suppliers.
