Looking for a new challenge, maybe a new industry, do you have exceptional Customer Service experience along with Sales and some Supervisory experience, then look no further, we have a great management role for you.  Due to an internal move, we are looking for an Assistant Branch Manager in our Cinderford branch.

Where will I be based?
The Cinderford branch is based on Hollyhill Road, Forest Vale Industrial Estate, its a fast paced branch with around 70 Trade customers a day, most are local and we know of a first name basis.  The branch has 9 colleagues and 2 delivery vehicles, and the Branch Manager has created a positive friendly, family feel atmosphere, so a nice environment to join. We are planning long term, so we are looking for future Branch Managers, so if you are willing to learn every aspect of branch life, are hard working and ambitious, we would love to hear from you.

Opening Hours - Monday to Friday 7.30am - 5pm and Satursday 8am-12pm (you only work 2 in 4 Saturday's)

What will I be doing?
No one day is the same as the next branch life, now that you have your new found knowledge, and induction, here are a few pointers:
  • With your learned knowledge of the products and services we offer, you will be a pivotal contact for our customers, nurturing great relationships, understanding their needs in order to offer expert advice and recommending alternatives, to meet their individual needs and maximise the sale of goods.
  • Our success is built on strong relationships with our customers, so it’s essential that you can work closely with the Branch manager and help coach a team to deliver the highest standards of service.  
  • Safety is at the forefront of everything we do, your aim will be to ensure that all our colleagues and customers leave the Branch safely, by adhering to all stay safe policies and procedures.
  • Being operational aware, you will support the Branch Manager in managing all aspects of the Cinderford branch.

What experience do you need?
We really don’t mind what sector you come from, if you have merchanting experience, it would be advantageous, but not essential, we just want your transferable skills, supervisory, sales experience and great customer service.
