You’ll be managing an agreed list of customers and take full ownership for customer relationships at every level, creating effective account action plans in order to achieve sales, revenue, product mix and profit targets. As a Technical Sales Manager you will be responsible for maximising our business potential for the Energy Efficiency Team within the P&H Division.


Duties Include:

  • Provide consistent and considered communication throughout our internal and external customer stakeholder network, which always positively promotes the Energy Efficiency Business, our offer and how we add value.

  • Engage with the Energy Efficiency Design & Estimation Team to deliver a project sales management approach utilising our P&H project management platform. Identifying projects at an early stage and with the Design team to quote as many tenders as appropriate driving upwards to project win rates in their own area.

  • Identify, secure and develop a customer base of key contractors within an agreed area visiting on a regular basis and encouraging greater use of the Energy Efficiency business such as the Design & Estimation Platform.

  • Champion an energy efficiency agenda within your territory developing a network of internal customer relationships. Have a regular call plan in place which allows regular and structured communications enabling self to be seen as the “go to” person for support on the Energy Efficiency Sector.    

  • Negotiate new and amended contracts with customers within agreed parameters and identify additional revenue opportunities.

  • Create and continually develop an ‘Account Development Plan' for each customer you will ensure clearly that it maps out a development strategy and ensure that all relevant customers have up-to-date service level agreements (SLA).

  • Continually evaluate the performance of each account vs their available spend in order to maximise our share of wallet.

  • Identify additional revenue opportunities within the allocated customer list and within the wider market to hunt new opportunities to grow the business and take responsibility for the resolution of any problems
